To uninstall the software, you need to clear the cached files from the Java Plug-in and from your browser.
Cached files are temporary internet files. These files are used by your browser to quickly access information, and remember frequently viewed pages.
A cookie is a small piece of information that a web server stores temporarily within your browser. Cookies help to identify users and provide a more streamlined browsing experience.
In the Windows Control Panel, open Java. This may be located under Other Control Panel Options.
Activate the General tab.
In the Temporary Internet Files section, click Settings. The Temporary Files Settings dialog box opens.
Click Delete Files. The Delete Temporary Files dialog box opens.
Tick the Applications and Applets checkbox.
Click OK. The Delete Temporary Files dialog box closes.
Click OK. The Temporary Files Settings dialog box closes.
Click OK. The Java files are cleared.
Select the menu path Tools > Internet Options.
In the Browsing history section, click Delete. The Delete Browsing History dialog box opens.
Do the following:
Click Delete files. A confirmation message displays.
Click Yes.
Click Delete cookies. A confirmation message displays.
Click Yes.
Click Close. The Delete Browsing History dialog box closes.
Click OK. The browser cache is cleared.
Select the menu path Tools > Clear Private Data. Tick the following checkboxes:
Cache
Cookies
Click Clear Private Data Now. The browser cache is cleared.
