The application includes an online help system which provides information about the command you are currently viewing. In addition to providing help on a particular command, you can view help about other commands and search for information using an index and search functionality.
When you click the Help button in a command, the application help opens and displays information about the command in a separate help window.
The Help window has 3 tabs:
Contents: a table of contents. This is the default tab.
Index: an alphabetical list of keywords.
Search: enables you to search for help about a subject.
The table of contents displays books and pages. Pages are individual help topics, while books are groups of related help topics.
Click the Contents tab.
To open a book, click on the book. The topics in the book display.
To view a topic, click on a page. The topic displays in the right-hand pane.
Click the Index tab.
In the keyword box, type in the first few letters of a keyword you want to find. The index highlights the first word beginning with your letters.
Click on the keyword you are interested in.
If there is only one topic associated with the keyword, the topic displays in the right-hand pane.
Click the Search tab.
Type a search word into the box and press Enter. A list of topics containing your search words displays below the box.
Click a title to display the topic in the right-hand pane.
In a help topic, click Hide. The Navigation Pane disappears.
In a help topic, click Show. The Navigation Pane displays.
