Opening Commands

When using one of the frame layouts, commands can be opened in existing frames or in new windows. These new windows appear over the top of the original frame layout.

To open a command in an existing frame

  1. Use one of the following ways to select the command to be opened:

  1. Click the menu on the menu bar under which the command can be found.

or

  1. Right-click on any security code in any command.

  2. Rest the mouse over the arrow to the right of the command that is to be opened. A list of possible locations that the command can be opened in is displayed. Depending on the frame layout you have selected the options in this menu will vary.

  1. Click [destination frame]. The location describes the frame that the command will open in.

The command appears in the selected frame.

To open a command in new window

  1. Use one of the following ways to select the command to be opened:

  1. Click the menu on the menu bar under which the command can be found.

or

  1. Right-click on any security code in any command.

  2. Rest the mouse over the arrow to the right of the command that is to be opened. A list of possible locations that the command can be opened in is displayed.

  3. Click New Window.

A new window that is not part of the application frame set is opened.
